Two factions of werewolves, known as Skinwalkers, are at war. One group, led by Jonas (Elias Koteas), wants to protect Timothy and end the curse. The opposing "evil" pack, led by the ruthless Varek (Jason Behr), thrives on bloodlust and intends to kill the boy to preserve their immortal, beastly way of life.

The story revolves around 12-year-old Timothy (Matthew Knight), who lives a quiet life with his mother, Nana (Rhona Mitra), and his grandfather.
