Many scholars, citing the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which mentions "musical instruments" as a sign of societal decay (Sahih al-Bukhari 5590), argue that most musical instruments are forbidden. In this view, the only truly Halal Sound are: halal sound
