The Snap constraint (Assembly Design workbench) has been revamped. R33 introduces – a translucent preview of where the component will land before you click. This dramatically reduces the trial-and-error of aligning complex bolt patterns.

If you are on R28 or earlier, upgrading to R33 is beneficial. If you need generative AI, cloud, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE), consider moving to CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE .
