The may or may not win a National Award. The A8ix Club might remain a niche subculture. But as of today, one thing is certain: the phrase "A8ix Fun Marathi" has turned into a movement. And movements, however chaotic, are always fun to watch—or better, to join.
The flagship series A8ix Fun Marathi – Zhakaas Moments has already completed three seasons. Each 8-minute episode garners an average 2 million views. In Season 3, Episode 4 titled “Lonavala Chai Scam,” the protagonist (played by newcomer Aaryan Mhatre ) uses the secret handshake to trick a local tapri owner.
